Dates with Mommy & more!

 Finley loves to play with his baby sister...which is her name apparently.  Lately when Fin is asked what his sister's name is he responds, "Baby sister."  Vera loves to play with him as well...as long as he doesn't lay on top of her or drive his cars on her head.

We took a date to Target.  Finley loved his Icee and hot dog and he loves Target :) Man after my own heart.

 Conference was so amazing...as usual.  And this was my little buddy that watched with me the whole time!...she might have fallen a sleep of few times ;)

 She is just growing way to fast! She is so much fun and happy all the time (most of the time).  She struggles to sleep in her own bed still...she has to grab on to me with a death grip as she is falling asleep and she never lets go! So if I lay her down she just wakes right back up!  She sleeps the best in her car seat...so for now, this is her bed. We are working on it...

This little boy asks to go to Chick fil A everyday.  He always says he needs to play with his friends at Chick fil A and eat an ice cream cone.  So today we did just that!  Fin is also FULL of questions and NEVER stops asking questions or just talks nonstop.  Luke asked if he could see how long he could go with out talking and it didn't last a second.  Today he realized we all have tongues. And nose buggers. And eyes.  He is just into knowing what EVERYTHING is and does and WHY! Ha can get a just a tid bit annoying especially when it's why? why? why?

Vera is a talker as well.  She just started scrunching her nose and I think its the cutest thing ever.  I have given her rice cereal twice and she ate it up fast. She is a little piglet and loud when she eats now too...its embarassing sometimes.  She is also very good at arching her back. Not my favorite. She is very strong and like I said before has a death grip...and it hurts.  Loving this little peanut.

I love my family!

 I couldn't be happier...I love my family! They bring such joy into my life!

 I am so blessed with these two precious kids! My heart is so full!

 Finley loves his daddy.  They are the best of friends and have such a good relationship.  Finley is just his little shadow and I love it so much! He is such a funny kid!

Finley keeps asking for Lia to come back to his house.  He was sad to find out they flew back home.  Vera definitely felt heavier then Lia, but Lia has many inches on her.  Vera is so chubby!  Lia was so cute to Vera (she will be a great big sister sky & diana ;)  and Finley wants his "friend" to come back!

TMNT Party!

Finley is turning 3!! I can't believe it!  We had a party today (since I work next weekend :()  It was supposed to be a pool/sprinkler/water gun party but thanks to Nashville weather it rained all morning and was 75 degrees so I decided we would just play inside.  Well,  that didn't happen.  About noon the sun was shining and the boys were begging to go outside so we got the water guns out and they were all in heaven!  Finley couldn't be any happier (except if his cousins and grandparents could've been here)! He LOVED having friends at HIS house.  We had mini pizzas, cheese balls, cookies, man hole covers (oreos), juice, grapes, and TMNT cake.  I am sure the kids went home in a sugar-coma.

Luke worked hard on this table for me...with Finley's help of course.  Now they will begin their next project- benches!  :)

Vera is 4 months old!

This little girl is such a joy! I love her so much!  She is always so happy and loves to be around everyone! She gets super excited when big brother Finley walks in the room.  She flaps her arms and kicks and coos at him...it melts my heart. She loves to sleep sprawled out like a starfish. She loves to play with her toys and is a jumper like her brother.

 She can roll over now stomach to back and back to stomach. She is very strong and has such a good grip! She loves faces...and loves to feel them...she is always putting her hands on my face.

 Her stats:  She is 13.5 lbs (44th percentile) 24in long (33rd percentile) and I forgot her head circumference but she was in like the 95th percentile! Why do my kids have such big heads!?

We love this girl so much and couldn't imagine our lives with out her!

Recently....

We are so busy! Work is crazy...I have 7 new patients since last friday, so instead of being in charge of 11, I am now responsible for 18!! I dont have time for my breaks, except lunch. I am running up and down the dumb halls...and I think my milk is drying up since I haven't had breaks to pump :(! Finley is excited for his birthday..I am just goin to have a few of his friends over for a water party and he can't stop talking about it. He also really wants a bike, monster truck, a bucket, bubble gun, and he says that's it. Lukes first block of exams are in the next week or so...so he is studyin hard.  And Vera is teething and getting as fat as she can :)

It was a great day.

We had a great day off yesterday. (By we...I mean, Me. Luke had school all day.)  Woke up and cleaned the house, made a quick trip to Walmart to by floaties (which were 50 cents!), made lunch and cookies and got to the beach by noon!  We met our friends Katie, Eli and Asher there and the boys were in heaven!

They built sand castle after sand castle and Fin would not take off his new floaties...He is such a little water baby! And I am sure he will be having diarrhea...he kept "chasing" the water with his mouth even after I explained to him how gross and dirty it was and not to do it..he still chomped at the water. no surprise there.

Vera was a little beach babe. She didn't mind the water and she enjoyed squishing her chubby toes in the sand :)  She is just a little peach and I love her.  She is the most smiley and happy baby (especially when she wakes up in the morning).  She eats her fists all day and loves to play with her toys and loves her brother so much! He can get her laughing and it is so cute.  She doesn't do much tummy time because the second I put her on her belly she rolls right on over to her back. Every time.

And after a long day at the beach we packed the kids up and dropped them off at a friends house (Josh & Christinas) and Luke and I went to dinner and to the temple! It was a great and very needed night out :) The sessions were full so we ended up doing sealings and there was the cutest old couple in there celebrating their 50th anniversary! It was a great day.
