I wish I wrote down the things Fin says on a daily basis or that my mind would actually remember things as a young persons mind should...but it doesn't.

Just wanted to remember some things about Finley...

Luke asked Finley to go get him a butter knife so he could fix something. Fin then comes and asks me for a butter knife...I give it to him.  He stands in the door way staring at the knife and would not hand it to Luke. He looked up really confused and said "but, it doesn't have butter on it."

"Mom, did you know that all my friends at Chick Fil A love me?  I showed them my super hero powers."

Fin's worst nightmare:  He had a dream that the toilet shot pee into his eye.

January is almost over already??

This has been the coldest month of my life. I will forever be an Arizona girl. We have had ONE day that finally reached 60 degrees so we took advantage of it and took the kids to the park. Of course the next day it snowed.  We are back into the swing of things and are doing well. We have yet to hear from Lukes internship applications. Still praying for a miracle. I know Fin would be in heaven having a whole summer spent with cousins! (and so would the rest of us!) Vera is growing like a weed. She is trying to walk and is into everything. She has 2 bottom teeth and the two top ones seem to be her battle now. Finley met a girlfriend at Chick fil A last week and they played for like 2 hours together. When Luke finally got him to leave, he ran back in and KISSED HER ON THE LIPS! Then she ran after him and gave him the "Key" to the car. ( They were using a piece of paper as the "key" to the toy car they were sitting in). Then Fin put his hand up on the glass window and she put hers up on the other side...Luke said he felt so bad taking them away from each other :0 haha

8 months and growing fast!!

I love this girl so much! I can't believe how fast she is growing!!

 And here comes trouble...she discovered the power button on the xbox...seems like we were just telling Finley to stop touching it and now she has begun...

 This past Sunday she pulled herself to standing position for the first time and she was sure proud!

 She is one busy, busy girl and always wants to be where Finley is.

 These kids make me the happiest person in the world. (and craziest at times:)

Vera Faye you brighten my day!

• Crawling everywhere
• pulls herself to standing position
• Loves yogurt chips and Pizza crust
• Follows her brother around the house
• Loves to play peek a boo and row your boat
• Loves to be read to
• Is a high pitch song bird while she is laying in her crib supposed to be taking a nap

Randoms of the New Year

 Finley loves to help his baby sister "Bera"...and Daddy taught him how to feed her :)

 Love this boy when he sleeps (and yes, he still needs a hair cut)

 Fin loves to read Vera stories...he makes up his own version of the book , of course.

And boy does he want to be in Arizona! Everyday he asks to go to Arizona and live there :(

Our AZ Christmas!

 Our first day back home and Fin found his Uncle Ike to read him a book.

 We decorated cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve with our Tabla cousins

 And we delivered some to Uncle Ike at work

We had such a WONDERFUL time in AZ! We miss our family and friends SO MUCH! Finley keeps asking to go back to Arizona everyday now...the poor thing wants to play with his cousins. I don't know who misses it more..Me or Finley...maybe Luke. Luke I think was the most homesick on our flight home. In just 2 years and 4 months we will be packing up and moving back home! Yay! haha
