Vera is 5 months old!

She is just growing faster than a weed!  She is definitely spoiled and I must say she is pretty evenly split between a daddy's girl and mommy's girl.  But I think I win because she says "mamamamamam" and I am claiming that as her first word. Mama.  She rolls ALL over the place.  She loves to play in Finley's room the most...she will spend a long time in there before she starts to fuss.  I don't know why.  She is a great eater...a constant one.  I started giving her a small bowl of rice cereal at dinner time and she eats it so fast...I will probably have to start feeding her more and sooner that I wanted but she is always wanting to eat! Just like her mommy!  I got us matching scarves and I love it on her :)  We just love our Bera!

54 Days!!

We went to a farm/pumpkin patch last week.  It was so much fun! Fin was in heaven and would not hold still for hardly a second!  And it was free admission! The train ride and other big attractions were extra (like 2-4 dollars).  But he loved the toys and animals! There are some videos at the bottom of Fin :)

Fin always asks to have a picnic and since I have had a cold this past week I decided we will just have one inside...so thats what they did! And this little pumpkin is learning to sit up!

We did a little experiment I found on pinterest...just put food coloring in Vinegar and drop over baking soda and it fizzes.  He was quite intrigued!

We had some chalk time too as we killed time before Luke came home from school.  Finley likes to go a little crazy at times...

The things Fin says...

This boy is always making us laugh and I am terrible and writing down the things he says...but here are some of the things I remember from this past month or so....

Singing "Where is thumbkin, where is thumbkin...etc" I asked him, "fin, who taught you that song?" His response, "Jesus."...I later asked him again and he said "Amen."
"I want to do it all BEHIND myself!"
"Heyyy, everyone has tongues!....and booger noses!"- out of nowhere while watching Madagascar with Luke
"I say sorry to you"
"Jesus wants us to make happy choices."
"...and what else?"- repeated 100 times when asking things like what's for dinner or what do spiders eat?

Just this past week he has started to work hard on pronunciation.  It's pretty funny.  He watches your mouth and tries to repeat you...the best was getting him to say guacamole or ventriloquist. Warning..the video is loud.Vera was needing some attention at the time ;)...and this is after we had him say guacamole 20 times so he is actually pretty good in the video...

Dates with Mommy & more!

Finley loves to play with his baby sister...which is her name apparently.  Lately when Fin is asked what his sister's name is he responds, "Baby sister."  Vera loves to play with him as well...as long as he doesn't lay on top of her or drive his cars on her head.

We took a date to Target.  Finley loved his Icee and hot dog and he loves Target :) Man after my own heart.

Conference was so amazing...as usual.  And this was my little buddy that watched with me the whole time!...she might have fallen a sleep of few times ;)

She is just growing way to fast! She is so much fun and happy all the time (most of the time).  She struggles to sleep in her own bed still...she has to grab on to me with a death grip as she is falling asleep and she never lets go! So if I lay her down she just wakes right back up!  She sleeps the best in her car seat...so for now, this is her bed. We are working on it...

This little boy asks to go to Chick fil A everyday.  He always says he needs to play with his friends at Chick fil A and eat an ice cream cone.  So today we did just that!  Fin is also FULL of questions and NEVER stops asking questions or just talks nonstop.  Luke asked if he could see how long he could go with out talking and it didn't last a second.  Today he realized we all have tongues. And nose buggers. And eyes.  He is just into knowing what EVERYTHING is and does and WHY! Ha can get a just a tid bit annoying especially when it's why? why? why?

Vera is a talker as well.  She just started scrunching her nose and I think its the cutest thing ever.  I have given her rice cereal twice and she ate it up fast. She is a little piglet and loud when she eats now too...its embarassing sometimes.  She is also very good at arching her back. Not my favorite. She is very strong and like I said before has a death grip...and it hurts.  Loving this little peanut.

64 days until AZ!
